The Kerala High Court on Tuesday reserved for orders the petitions challenging a government order allowing the Kerala State Industries Development Corporation (KSIDC) to register a company to provide Islamic banking services.The government order was issued by the Principal Secretary, Industries Department.

A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice J Chelameswar and Justice P R Ramachandra Menon passed the orders while hearing the petitions submitted by former Union Minister Subrahmanian Swamy and R V Babu, of Kochi, challenging the government order. The arguments of the parties were completed on Tuesday.
