AmInvestment Bank Berhad was honoured at the KLIFF (Kuala Lumpur Islamic Finance Forum) Awards 2010 held last night as the “Most Outstanding Islamic Investment Banking”.
Mohd Effendi Abdullah, Director/Head, Islamic Markets, AmInvestment Bank Berhad received the award from YB Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department. AmInvestment Bank Berhad recently clinched a string of Islamic finance awards at the The Asset Triple A Islamic Finance Awards 2010 such as the “Most Innovative Islamic Finance Deal” and “Best Islamic Deal – Malaysia”, both for 1Malaysia Development Berhad’s RM5 billion 30-year Islamic medium term notes.
Their Islamic funds management arm, AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn Bhd was designated as the Islamic Asset Management House of the Year.
